The Hikvision DS-KIS612-P steps up to 4MP resolution and a wide 150° horizontal field of view, giving a noticeably clearer and broader view of visitors than the standard 2MP villa kit. It supports multiple unlocking methods -- card, PIN code, Bluetooth, the Hik-Connect app, or the indoor station itself -- and can control two separate locks, useful for a main gate plus a house door. The door station runs on an embedded Linux processor with substantially more onboard memory than entry-level kits, supporting smoother video (main stream up to 2688x1520) and more reliable performance. It includes WiFi plus a wired network port, 4 alarm inputs, a door contact input, and 2 lock relay outputs for more sophisticated installations. The kit ships with a 32GB TF card for local recording alongside cloud options, and is built to operate from -10°C to 50°C. A strong choice for homeowners who want sharper video and more flexible access control than a basic intercom kit provides.
